Directions from M1 (Chesterfield):

Leave at Junction 29, take the A617 to Chesterfield.  Follow signs for the A619 through the town and head towards Baslow.  In Baslow take the A623 towards Stockport and Manchester passing through Calver and then Stoney Middleton before climbing onto Tideswell Moor.  At the Anchor Inn turn right onto the B6049 towards Bradwell, after 1.7 miles turn left into Little Hucklow.  Follow the lane into the village, Bertin Cottage is adjacent to the Phone Box / Post Box.  Distance from the M1 is 25 miles.

Directions from M60 (Stockport):

Leave at Junction 1 following signs for the A6.  Follow the A6 towards Buxton, passing through Disley, New Mills and skirting Chapel-en-le-Frith.  Before Dove Holes turn left at a roundabout and onto the A623 heading towards Tideswell and Chesterfield.  Pass through Peak Forest and then climb onto Tideswell Moor, turning left onto the B6049 at the Anchor Inn heading towards Bradwell.  After 1.7miles turn left into Little Hucklow and follow the lane into the village, Bertin Cottage is adjacent to the Phone Box / Post Box.  Distance from the M60 is 22 miles.
